I have not bee able to get my main character to stop dancing for the past week. Logging in and out doesn’t help. I have checked on the forums for answers - no help. There are no buffs present and I have not been to a dance party. I have tried many different emotes to see if the dancing can be stopped. I have even tried the dancing emote to see if the dancing can be reset and it still won’t stop. I have tried the character on another machine and she still dances. She is the only character I have with this problem. I have renamed the three recommended folders, cashe etc. and the only thing that changed was my sound, and she is still dancing. I have tried in game bug reporting and to open a ticket in game. I am less the impressed with the help given, which has been none. I shouldn’t have to come to a forum to get help from Blizzard.
Sounds like you have a buff from a quest or something. Might be useful to abandon quests one by one to see if any of them remove it. Could also read each of your quests to see if anything talk about dancing/music/ect

Doesn’t seem to be the answer. I checked my quests - only 4 - and none of them have anything to do with dancing or partying etc. I have taken every item off of my character and it’s not that either. 
Stupid question but did you try dying? Especially being a night elf, maybe dying and wisp form on top of that can help?

Now the question is how to create the bug, Because I have the same issue. I love it though and don’t want to mess it up with out knowing how to bug it out again
Im having this same bug now but im not going to die. If I die I delete the character. So how do I fix?
Queueing into rated arena or arena skirmish and ditching is another good way to clear hidden buffs.
