Hello, After downloading the patch I cannot get into the game with the error message “Cannot start 3D acceleration” I tried doing what another person suggested, and went into the retail folder and starting wow with the intergraded graphics selected and it appeared to work for a moment. I was able to see the loggin screen. I then set the ingame setting to use my Gforce 745M and shortly after i had done so the game glitched for a moment and the screen went white with the words “Gforce 745 cannot be unplugged… etc.” The graphics driver then recovered, but the game then came up with the error message "Cannot start 3D acceleration. I have had this error but was able to load the game for the past few months with little error. Now it appears that I cannot. I want to know whether this driver update i found is the correct one I’ll post my Dxdiag in the following post. If it isnt the best one to use for my system could you provide me with a link to the proper one i should try. I currently have everything running off of my Nvidia graphics driver so that there is little chance of issues between drivers. The website page said that the latest Nvidia version i should download is 417.35.
is this the proper one to use? Do i have to uninstall my old version or can i just launch the new download and it’ll replace the old one? Let me know please! Thank you!
