However, neither script seems to work. I was able to get this script to work on other characters a few weeks ago. But they don’t seem to work on my Dracthyr.

My Dracthyr is having the same issue. I’m going to test a new character of another class to see if it is unique to Dracthyr or a patch-change removed feature.
Personally, I disliked that the bag sorting/looting options were removed from the options in the first place.
Same problem on a new Dracthyr. Tried the fix linked above from the support article (which has worked in the past for different characters), tried different addons, tried no addons at all, tried resetting my entire UI. Haven’t been able to get it working yet. All of my existing characters still sort fine. Only the Dracthyr I created Tuesday seems to be having issues.

Made a new Mage (I had been planning to anyway), and sadly I can confirm that the sorting issue is not unique to Dracthyr, but seems to affect all new characters.

This command in chat used to work, but no longer does as of today. Granted, I only tested one new character, and all my previous characters are sorting as desired. It seems the option remained set on existing characters but cannot currently be set on new ones.
Agreed. It’s making new characters annoying to play. The sooner this is fixed the better. At least existing characters are not affected.
Same here. The CVar for left bag looting seems to be gone entirely.
Can confirm this happening to me too, that command worked last week and as of stage 2 of pre-patch no longer works.

However it doesn’t seem to reverse the slot orders within the bags just the order of the bags

Does anyone have the issue where gray items won’t sort at all?
For me after using the C_Container.SetSortBagsRightToLeft(true) fix all grays will go to the bottom of my bags and honestly, I personally find this as ideal since grays are usually vendor trash and I wouldn’t want them mixed in with the rest of the inventory.
This is happening on all my character (18) on proudmoore realm.
Also, whenever I loot items like junk, they are dropped into the bag that has been checked “Ignore this bag” - the game never used to do that unless all the other bags were full. It drops the junk items in the ignored bag even when there is plenty of other bag space and the other bags are not designated for other items (i.e., quest items, consumables, trade goods, equipment).
The ‘Ignore This Bag’ option only makes it so the clean up button doesn’t touch it. It doesn’t affect which bags items get looted into.
I suspected the command had changed rather than the feature being removed.

Still looking for a reverse bag sort I can’t stand things floating in my bags and Bagnon seems to not have updated yet and if you load out of date the pages just won’t open.
