I was going to try out Classic Cata, however I deleted my rogue on Westfall, when I went to restore him, I just keep getting this error:
“There was a problem restoring your character. Please try again later.”
I have tried again on many laters, still no luck.
What made you delete your rogue and restore it again ? Cuz rogue is gonna be op in Cata ?
i know it was asked in shear curiosity but what does it matter?
he is in his right to delete and restore once a week
How long since you deleted him, and what level? If he was below 10, you cannot restore at all, if between 10 and I think 30 you have some weeks and over 30 a month or more … unless they changed tihs too?

70 rogue named Sandor on Westfall, no reason I shouldn’t be able to restore him…
Is it one of the realms being closed?
Because I had that problem too. Just said goodbye to them.
My only guess is the name got taken while it was deleted. I don’t know if it’d prevent an undelete but it wouldn’t surprise me if that was a thing so people wouldn’t try to get free renames.
Wouldn’t be a bad idea to stick in a ticket for it.
This is happening almost definitely because the server is locked and you have no other toons on it.
This has happened in the past too on locked servers.

Sadly Blizzard says they can do nothing on that article too, so you’re probably out of luck, which sucks, sorry.
