I deleted my Horde characters to beta test on Alliance since my Horde characters were all level 20, I tried to recover them today and it gives me an error saying “There was a problem deleting your restored character, please try again later”.
Is there any way to restore them?
I’m unable to restore also. I keep getting told there are characters by that name already on the server. However I can create, and later delete characters using those names. It’s been over a day and it still thinks this.
I’ve been told by others, that this is a generally accepted ‘beta’ thing, for WoW, during all Betas.
Glad it got posted though, would hate for it to be missed.
Same for me - I didn’t even mean to delete that one but they re-ordered my lineup while I was typing delete and changed the toon that got deleted UGH - now it’s all about there already being that name, why can’t we just rename?
It seems they don’t set up deleted character storage for beta tests
