Cannot Purchase Cosmic Weapon Cache From In Game Store

Hi there,

I was asked by a CS representative to create a bug report for this issue. TL;DR; I cannot purchase Cosmic Weapon Cache that is released to in game store with 11.0 pre-patch. I kept getting a generic error message: “There was a problem with your order. Please try again.”, this happens right after I clicked on the “$12” button, before getting to the page of choose payment method, etc.

Same here tried to buy it last night. It does not even attempt to go to the purchase portion.

Same issue. Not sure what is causing it but hope its fixed before it goes away or they extend the time to buy it.

I realized that I might already have the individual transmog items, which might be the reason that caused this error. Is there a way to confirm this (e.g. a quick script to run), or can the purchase interface be updated to properly reflect if you’ve already owned it and hide the purchase button if that’s the case?

Check to see if you have the items. I had a ticket in and confirmed that since I earned the cache in November the store will error out. I already had all 5 items learned.

The store should have the message instead “you already learned these items” instead of its confusing generic error.

I was having the same issue myself, i put a ticket in and was told they couldn’t fix the issue to try a few different things like clear my wtf folder and cache folder shut off my addons. So i tried to purchase it again today, no luck. So i decided to check each item to see if i already have them and i actually do have all of them already. I googled what the items were in the cache and looked them up individually and i have them all. I really don’t know if this is why the error comes up but it is my guess as to why it popped up for me. I was able to buy the cache on a different account. Just letting you know what i came across. I hope this helps.

To anyone wondering why they can’t purchase this, it appears that these were the final monthly reward for completing November 2023 trading post. Likely can’t be purchased if you did that month’s trader’s post.
