In the character select screen before prepatch you were able to move where each character was in each slot but after prepatch if you try and move any of them they get instantly sent to 1 of the top 11 slot and then a character from the top gets sent to the bottom as if they were swapped
its really annoying since i like to organize my characters by their level and faction
although i admit its one of the minor bugs, i still believe i should speak up about it or else it potentially would never be fixed

Use the Arrows, tap them one by one. Don’t drag or you’ll knock multiple characters out of order.

Yeah I dislike this bug, the workaround is so slow!
Bliz should use this bug as an opportunity to setup a new grid character select with smaller/less wasted space. Be awesome if they could also allow us to see multiple realms in one go, at the least on the realms that are combined…

Yeah very annoying it needs to be fixed ASAP I like putting my toons in order of how much I play them but I cant do this because it teleports when I go to drag one of my characters up or down. When using the arrows it works fine but I shouldn’t have to do that.

I made a bug report 2 weeks ago when I first noticed this. It is quite annoying since I have a lot of alts lol. It takes a long time to use the arrows, but it’s what I do for now.
I would love if I could filter by class, race, faction, etc., or even start typing a name in an input box to find the character I want immediately.
