Cannot Play The Game "A streaming error has occurred." (WOW51900322)

Apologies for caps in advance, I’ve been trying to solve this all day and was sick of repeating myself to the blizzard support box just for it to get deleted with no resolution.

FOR ALL OF MY CHARACTERS OTHER THAN ONES IN ORGRIMMAR I GET “A STREAMING ERROR HAS OCCURRED” EVERY TIME I TRY TO LOGIN ON THEM AND GET INSTANTLY DISCONNECTED. HOWEVER, I CAN LOGIN TO CHARACTERS IN ORGRIMMAR, AND CAN ONLY ACCESS SOME ZONES. ALL OF MY CHARACTERS IN VALDRAKKEN ARE COMPLETELY UNPLAYABLE, AND IF I GO TO VALDRAKKEN PORTAL THAT CHARACTER WILL ALSO GET THE “STREAMING ERROR” BUG AND BE UNPLAYABLE.

I HAVE TRIED: SCAN AND REPAIR (WHICH IS BROKEN), FULLY UNINSTALLED, REINSTALLED, REMOVED ADDONS, RESET UI/INTERFACE FOLDERS, RESTARTED BATTLE.NET AND PC, AND ALL THE SOLUTIONS SUGGESTED IN THE (WOW51900322) SECTION ON THE SUPPORT SITE, DRIVERS AND WINDOWS ARE UP TO DATE.

I JUST RENEWED MY MEMBERSHIP AFTER SOME TIME AWAY AND THE GAME IS UNPLAYABLE, I FEEL LIKE IVE TRIED EVERYTHING. PLEASE HELP.

This may help.
In battle.net menu settings is a button to reset all in game values to default.

If you’ve already followed all the instructions in that help section, i’d post a winmtr next. it might not be connection related but this would be good to rule out.

run it for 10-15 minutes and post it. If you can’t post links, highlight it and hit the </> button at the top of the reply box, or post it to pastebin and just post the letters in the link.

what happens when you run a scan and repair?

After hours of being redirected and fumbling around with the atrocious blizzard support site I finally found the solution here:

All you need to do is delete the “Data” folder in the WoW directory and should solve the corruption/streaming issues.
