Still broken, this is so annoying. I just can’t pick up the guy. It’s been weeks how has this not been addressed.

So I’ve tried and eventually ONE of the clicks will stick. It’s pretty annoying, but it works eventually. Still takes way too long. I’m skipping this WQ until they fix this.

This quest has never worked for me, across multiple characters, disabling all addons, and on two pcs. They simply won’t pick up unless I click over and over again and eventually get lucky to grab 1. The Dredger WQs take me upwards of 30mins to complete due to this.

You have more patience than me. I attempted once on each of my toons (just to see if that toon was different) and then said heck with it. Never completed one.

As of today, 22 May 2021, 2 of my toons cannot do it, but 2 can. Well, technically, they can do it but takes ages. They just cannot pick up any dredger, Then comes a long fight of multi clickings and hoping for the RNG God to bestow favor upon you and you pray and hope that the “throw dredger” icon appears. But like I said, it’s multi clicking and if it happens on your 2nd last click, you glimpse the icon, but your last click ruins it. It is a horrible experience. All addons turned off. Restart, reset whatever. Have done everything I could but still, it ALWAYS happens on these 2 toons and I have no idea why.
Six months later and this is still bugged. Incredible.

I cannot believe Blizzard still haven’t fixed this, unbelievable and seriously pathetic!
The amount of times I’ve lost a good items because I still can’t pick them up!
I guess they are busy with sexual harassment lawsuits though…

Another bump! I’m having trouble with this as well still.
Same! Today I cannot pick up dredger.
This has been a bug since beta and reported, still not fixed, I guess clicking the dredger 10-15 times is part of blizzard plan of wasting our time, working as intended.
6 months? try over a year before shadow lands launched, I reported it on the beta.

was able to complete one today, my ping was 207ms. typically i avoid this world quest, but the reward was a conduit i needed for my NF alt
I haven’t seen that Blizz has fixed this 18 MONTHS bugged/broken quest. I found a work-around on wowhead, way down in among the other “it’s broken” comments.

same problem, fixed it by cancelling the debuff on the top right
IT WORKED. Also only ONE “wreckage” now, where there were at least three the last time I successfully completed this quest.
Work-around for THAT is to just camp at the wreckage that’s showing. Pfft. New stuff when they can’t fix the old stuff.
