Update: Connection issue resolved. Apparently I had a corrupt AddOn that was causing the issue. Thread may now be locked!

Hey all,
I’ve been trying all afternoon now to login to the game. Tried multiple ISPs, Along with the Unstuck Character Service.
Minute I login to the game, Instant “You have been disconnected from the server”.
Tried the following ISPs:
Rogers / Shaw
Telus
I got (2) ISPs cause my main one is Telus PureFibre. But my friends upstairs use Rogers / Shaw. For Telus I’m connected directly to the wall, But with Rogers / Shaw I tried connecting via Wi-Fi.
Strongly suspecting it’s an issue with the game servers. All other games I play online have no issues and my internet for streaming is fine as well.
Have you tried on a different PC? Are you on Wifi or Ethernet? Are your Network adapter drivers up to date? Have you flushed your DNS? Are the correct ports for WoW open? Have you tried disabling firewalls?
I’ve tried both Wi-Fi and Ethernet as mentioned in the original post.
Yes! No updates for any drivers. I check monthly for updates as part as my Windows Updates.
Yes. I did this before asking for help with this issue.
Correct ports should be open as this issue only started this afternoon. Don’t see how those ports would close from between this morning when I could play fine till this afternoon.
Yes. I also did a virus scan that came back clean.
No. I’ve only updated my Windows 11 build to Version 24H2 and this was over a month ago. Considering opening a ticket at this point. Since I cannot do anything else on my end.
I just tried to login to my alts in-game and I could play them fine. It’s only my main that appears to be broken. Instant kick from server only on my main.
Edit: Submitted a ticket. Here is to hoping Blizzard can resolve this issue. I had this issue in the past, But it had to be escalated to a GM Specialist as couldn’t be resolved by a typical GM. So here is to hoping!
I still need help resolving this issue. Blizzard Support is not really helping any further. They have moved my character two times now and I still cannot login to my main.
A GM said I should be able to login and still instant kick when I login to my main. None of my alts having this issue. Would really like to have this fixed as this is my only Level 80.
Even did a scan and repair. Plus I completely uninstalled and reinstalled the game. And no dice.
Are you by chance logging into the game with ANY addons enabled? I know you mentioned a full reinstall but I doubt addons get deleted in that process.
I have a character on Cata Classic (Warrior), who, whenever I transition (loading screen), it kicks me from the game–all other characters load fine. Turns out, I run an addon for only that Warrior and it was very out of date causing my issue.
Yup! I tried the unstuck character tool multiple times. But when I logged in my character wasn’t even moved. Was in exact same place as before.
Yes. I’m currently playing the game now with no AddOn’s installed. If I install a single AddOn, The disconnection issue comes back. Doesn’t matter which AddOn I re-install.
