When I use the launcher I get that message (error# BLZBNTBNA00000A8E).
It pops up before I can type in my password.
It’s happened a couple of times today and usually resolves all on it’s own after a while. But I want to play naow! If I click on the error code it takes me to a web page, and it says that error is on your end, Blizzard.

Let’s make sure you are running the Blizzard app as Admin. If that doesn’t help, try closing the app and delete the temporary Battle.net files.

I tried both options and it’s still happening. Well they worked but only once. When I tried again to make sure it was fixed for good, it happened again. I bet if I tried now it would work. It’s unpredictable behavior. Also, when I tried to log on to the forums, I was brought to a white page instead of the page where we type our password. Refresh page did the trick, but I wonder if the two incidents might be connected.
That does sound weird. You may want to try a DNS flush and powercycle. If you have any security programs running, you could try disabling them temporarily to test the connection.
I’ve been having exactly the same problem. Spent the last half an hour reinstalling, restarting, clearing caches, etc. Now on my second reinstall and no luck.

DNS flush seems to work here also. I don’t know what I did? Something about being flooded with data? Not even sure what that means lol. But it works so far. I’ll post back if the issue reappears. Thank you.
Edit : Nope, it happened again. So far it’s not a big problem since I can try until it clicks and it never takes really long. But maybe that won’t always be the case.

Are you still having this problem? A few days ago we were having a known issue with battle.net login services through facebook/google accounts. That should be fixed at this point.
If you’re still having trouble, please generate a text copy of your DxDiag using these instructions. Once you have that made, open the file. You’ll need to copy and paste the contents of the Text document into the post and put four tilde (~) marks in front of it. It’ll look like this when you’re done:
