Sunwell. Her last memory will be dying to Arthas. I’d kinda dig that to be honest
Choppa. Zovaal made a mistake and accidentally fused the soul of the Predator into her.
She’s talking about The Sepulcher.
… next expansion.
Please?
That’s what we know.
She just had the half of her soul returned; the Ranger-General, whose final moments was fighting to prevent Arthas from reaching the Sunwell.
So perhaps on her side, she was momentarily re-experiencing her first death.
Either way, it’s nice parallelism, in my opinion.
Or people are reading way too into it and trying to force something that’s not there.
Dude, the ENTIRE expansion has had many parallels with Arthas’s story.
Look at the cinematic of Sylvanas going to attack Bolvar and break the Helm of Domination. Think back to the WC 3 cinematic of Arthas becoming the Lich King.
Look at the cinematic of mind-controlled Anduin marching up to the Firstborne. Uther, with his Frostmourne wound, reacted to Anduin! Think back on the WC 3 cinematic of Arthas coming home to kill his father.
Even the conversations between Sylvanas and Anduin referenced Arthas.
It’s perfectly valid if people don’t like this cinematic. But the parallel IS there, and it fits in the pattern that we’ve seen so far in this expansion.
This just made my mind go crazy! I never thought of it that way. What if what Sylvanas was experiencing in that moment was the moment she died trying to stop Arthas? Either way, it sure as hell is amazing writing to not only have her say it in regards to the jailer but also in reference to the time she died to Arthas.
“… top shelf!” She’s imagining she’s back home with her kid brother Lirath and he’s climbed up a bookcase or something and is about to knock over a valuable family heirloom or somesuch.
The Sunwell was infused with the Light at the end of the TBC SWP raid. The Sunwell would be a hostile force to Zovaal.
I think you are missing the point. Zoval doesn’t want to go to the sunwell. Her last memories are of dying to Arthas as he was going for the sunwell.
I still bet that she is talking about Ardenweald…to end reality, wouldn’t you have to end the Emerald Dream?
Makes sense if I am right is why she didn’t kill Tyrande in the Battle For Ardenweald. I bet Sylvanas was already planting the seeds of betrayal before the cinematic…I think you will need Malfurion and Tyrande to protect the Emerald Dream.
Is the Rift of Aln a part of the burning legion or shadowlands?
See I thought something else but now everyone says Sunwell and that just makes way more sense.
Those may have been her final words.
Why would Sylvanas care about the emerald dream. Doesn’t make sense
To forge a new reality…Sylvanas doesn’t care…Zovaal does.
Idk they already invaded Ardenwald. I don’t see that being reused again. It’s either the obvious sepulcher choice or sunwell honestly.
But isn’t the Heart of the Forest the device that keeps Zovaal imprisoned in the Maw?
Because the sigil was bound to it.
I thought the sigils had to do with powering himself up to what he used to be…not freeing himself from the Maw.
