Hello again all, I am hoping I can ask a simple question without being jumped on by every WOW superstar in the forums here…
My issue is that in Brill, I clicked on the Alchemy trainer to learn the skill, but the button is greyed out for some reason.
I am plenty high level enough to learn it, and have a couple of gold, so the 10 copper is not the issue, which has left me thinking this may be some kind of bug in the game. I would request some ‘CIVIL’ responses that can help to explain this to me. Thanks in advance!!
PS. If this is not the correct forum, please do not SPAZ out, and have a temper tantrum, just tell me the correct one, and I will post my question there.
How many other professions do you have? You can only learn two primary professions (not including Fishing, Cooking, and First Aid).
Do you have to bold and italicize every other word?
As Khaleen said, you can only have two primary professions. Do you have more than one?

A level 10 paladin cannot learn alchemy in Brill.
I’m just joking.
@ Khaleen
Thanks for a decent response…
@ Espur
Why did you post at all?? Did posting that do something for your ego or something??
@Meatmonger
Cute
It is actually not this character that i am using there, it is an Undead Warrior, but it does not how up on my list when I choose to change characters here in the forum page…
To anyone else who reads this, I got it now, I already had Herb & Skinning, but I thought I could change them to a different prof if I wanted to…
I placed my mouse over the Train button, and did this - /run GetMouseFocus():Enable()
This let me actually click the Train button, but then I got a warning that I was only allowed to have 2 professions at once, and asking me if I wanted Alchemy to be my second one. I clicked yes, but nothing happened at all??
It takes about a week for a character to appear on your list of forum characters after you reach level 10.
Obviously, it wouldn’t be possible for a level 10 paladin even to get into Brill safely.
You have to forget a profession before you can learn a new one. Open your character window, click the Skills tab, click on the bar for that profession. You will get the option to unlearn it.
That is the answer I was looking for thank you!!
The fun thing about public forums is that anyone can post anything in any thread so long as they don’t break rules.
Unlearn one profession for the character skill menu in the character portrait widget thing.

Thanks Tiesun, that is what I will do, but now that I think it through, I may want to keep my current 2 profs, to get some gold…
Having 2 gathering profs at first couldn’t hurt really, cuz money is looking to be scarce in Classic, where every piece of Silver you get is a WIN!!
@ Methenzo
I know right??
He must spend his days trolling the forums, being ultra careful not to get banned / blocked, while he makes pathetic, juvenile remarks towards other people’s posts!!
