Unable to join as group for korrak AV event is random and based on servers
i have a active account with 33 players the only players that can que for this event are on Aerie Peak and Area52 servers
- two level 20s on AP
- four level 50s and one level 20 on A52
all my other 27 players which includes 11 level-50 players (also this one i’m posting on) can not do the event.
i have a trial account with 17 players, only two level-20s can do the Korrak revenge AV event and ironically one is on Aerie Peak and the other on Area 52
i run only one addon called bagnon, i fully removed it, which did not fix the issue.
Combined or connected servers is where i have most my players with this issue. but also having this issue with my players on tichondrius server which i do not believe its connected with former low pop dead servers?
Not able to join directly on multiple characters on Zul’jin server. I WAS however able to join a group from someone else that was able to get one started (over 1h queue though).
Lots of rumors about people involving WM, mercenary mode, or only being able to join in groups of 10, but I’m fairly certain all of that is irrelevant to whatever the actual issue is.
Yea, as far as I can tell the issue which most likely seems to prevent people from joining is what Server you are on.
Still don’t want to confirm that, but after all I have seen it likely is the case in some regard. I don’t know what kind of coding issue would prevent a certain server from queuing though. High Pop servers like Area52 can join but Zuljin cannot, and there is no issue I can see why one can join but not other.
Could be where some servers are located, but are Area52 and Zuljin located at the same data center? Whatever the case hope it gets fixed soon, Day 2 without the event.
If i keep clicking it, it will queue eventually, then ill sit in the queue for an hour and it wont pop. done this twice now, over 3 hours total sitting in queue for korrak to no pop. FML
Edit: after logging out, logging out of BNet, loggingback in after a few mins, i got a pop after i clicked it until it worked
Same, both my wife and I both get failed as group whether we are in group or not, addons off or on… doesn’t seem to matter. Server Greymane.

my toons on a mop merged server can’t queue either, not sure if I have any non merged toons to test on.
can confirm that I can queue just fine on moonguard but any server involved in a merger or any kind does not work.
welp that didn’t last long, directly after leaving the queue on the moonguard character and attempting to requeue I got the error message, maybe its related to the queue system as a whole?
Same here. Tried on multiple toons but none of them could que
My other toons can queue but my main one cannot…

It is evident that your company has one too many things on it’s plate and needs more bodies there working on different aspects than you have on hand. I resubbed only to discover this 16th anniversary event is reheated leftovers from last year. It’s like you didn’t even try. But it’s worse because, as you can see from all the posts, Korraks doesn’t even load for many of us going on 2 days now.
And I’m sure you squeezed this one in just to have something because your company decided to launch the Shadowlands expansion just before Black Friday to make sure you’d get a solid boost in sales. I remember a Blizzard Entertainment that cared not only about the bottom line, but also the gaming experience they were delivering for that bottom line. That Blizzard Entertainment is dead.

Looks like they fixed it but will require overnight restarts.
To quote the patch notes:
WoW’s 16th Anniversary
- (With overnight restarts) Fixed an issue that prevented many players from queuing for the Korrak’s Revenge battleground.

I am not able to queue for this event either. It is time this was fixed.

I have been thinking this sense Korrak went live with these issues. I’m sure they’re 100% focused on Shadow Lands which i’m glad to see, but they still have a current game which has a lot of bugs sense pre patch that need a fix.
