I have been trying for the past 2 weeks to try and get a heroic kill for the mount. That’s all I care about. I have earned every AOTC mount since the start of this system back in Pandaria for Garrosh. But this expansion thus far has been the worst.
I must have applied to more groups than I care to remember in the past 2 weeks alone. I have done so on both Alliance and Horde with characters who are both ~455 item level. Every single time it as been “Your application to X has expired” not even declined…just expired. I am at a loss how to proceed. I do not have access to the vast stores of gold that people would demand if they were to carry me through it and quite frankly. I don’t want to be carried through it, I full would intend to do my bit to get the kill.
I have of course seen those adds that should not be in the LFG tool but I will not be pursuing those adds as that would be a violation of the TOS and I don’t want the Blizzard GMs to take away my mount after I get it or whatever the punishment is if it discovered that you did an RM transaction for a mount like this.
For less than 1k gold you can change your azerite to tank. The fight is super easy for us and all you need to know is the pathing for the synapses. The amount of damage tanks take in that fight is laughable. As long as you know the paths and dps have 3 braincells, it’s a kill
Join a guild or a community. Ultimately raids, especially at increased difficulties, are not supposed to be solo content. They’re designed to be a coordinated multiplayer challenge, so if you’re going about it from the vantage of doing it yourself without making friends or at least acquaintances then you’re going to have a hard time.
Trying to do group content as a solo individual is going to make the challenge even more difficult. That’s not the design of AOTC.
LFG is okay, but the leader will always choose the most experienced, most geared, most (in their eyes) able to just do it no question no guidance. It’s impersonal, because they don’t know you, don’t want to know you, don’t care about you, will kick you if you stumble without thinking twice, most be a place for you to learn.
Wowhead has a list of charity groups that will bring you along for just this. Go reserve your spot, join a guild, or start your own “AOTC ONLY” group. Most people are not willing to form the raid group and would just rather join one(I’m one of these). If you’re capable of forming a good group do that.
If you’re only 455 you will never ever in a million years be invited to a pug that has a chance to kill nzoth. At this point in the expansion I wouldn’t invite anyone to my cara/nzoth group who was less than 475
Unless you are paying, I can completely why they are rejecting you. You have a single LFR kill but think you can just jump into Heroic for an achievement. Hell your gear places you firmly in the Normal tier but you don’t even want to do that. So anyone that accepted you would basically be a “man down” the entire raid and have to carry you.
