Cannot find wow-exe

I have been trying to find the wow-exe in the world of warcraft folder but have not been able to find it. It is not in the retail folder either. I have done the scan and repair twice and have now uninstalled and in the process of installing the game completely again right now. Any help would be appreciated

It should be the last thing in this file: C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft
It says World of Warcraft Launcher.

Here is where mine is located, mind you, my installation is on a SSD, so not under the Windows file structure.

E:\World of Warcraft\_retail_\Wow.exe

That is for the Battle.net Launcher app. It sounds like OP is looking for just the WoW exe file to launch the game outside the Launcher.

Although, using the Launcher is the preferred method for running Blizzard games.

Actually, that is just for the battle.net launcher, I apologize. The one you’re looking for, as Kyzera pointed out is in your retail folder labeled WoW with the icon next to it. If you right click it and go to properties it will tell you it’s an exe file

Hey Quickpudge,

Please check to ensure this is a 64 bit OS version. The game will not install a 64-bit exe file on a 32 bit system. Instructions.
