I am trying to place a personal crafting order with a friend (blue Khazgorite Sickle). I have all the mats, he has the necessary skill, he’s made stuff for others that way. Everything appears in order (heh). But I cannot get his name to pull up on the list. My char is Mevrain, his char is Palabrewtis, server is Proudmoore. We’ve tried disabling addons, reloading, relogging, etc. Can’t find a similar issue in the forums. Thanks for any help!

So, I’ve tried some experimenting and it seems that I cannot send a crafting order to a character who is not in my guild IF that player has alts in my guild. I can send orders to random characters standing next to me in town and I can send orders to alts in my guild. But not to that specific subset of characters. For what it’s worth.
Update #2: My friend rejoined my guild and as soon as he was back in the guild I could send him personal orders.
Update #3: My friend left the guild again but was still in a BNet group for my guild and I could still send him orders while he was in that group. Once he left I could no longer send him orders.
