Cannot enter Legacy Raids more than one clear

So I’ve been trying to farm older raids for transmog gear recently and I’ve run into a bit of a weird situation. I can clear a legacy raid one time (for instance, I cleared Icecrown Citadel on regular 25 man this week) but not again afterward. With my normal ICC 25 man run done, I cannot enter 25 man heroic or 10 man heroic, but I can enter 10 man regular ICC. I get the message thusly:

“You are ineligible to participate in at least one encounter in this instance because you are already locked to an instance in which it has been defeated.”

The same can be said for Onyxia’s lair, though a bit differently. When I cleared Onyxia on 10 man, I went out, changed it to 25 and went back in, and while the small banner on the minimap indicated it was 25 man, the boss and all the minions were still dead. My guildmates have been running into a similar issue with other legacy raids.

Is there anyway to get around this? Is this an addon issue? I would definitely like to be able to grind ICC specifically because I’m trying to get the legendary on my Ally Pally. Thanks in advance for any help I can get.

EDIT: Just entered ICC on 10 man and I have the same issue as Onyxia’s Lair; minimap says it is set to 10 but there are no enemies.

Old raids through I believe up to Draenor are one clear a week regardless of difficulty. I know you can run BRF and HFC on ea difficulty same with legion content but anything prior to that is on the old system where its one clear a week no matter the difficulty per toon. So say you do ICC 25 man that week, you cant do 10 on that character.

Not a bug.

In Cata, blizzard made it that you can only run one difficulty (and player size) for wrath raids due to the gear changes they did with the Cata pre-patch.

And that applies to Cata and MoP raids (excluding SoO).

For SoO onwards, you can run all the difficulties just fine. it should be noted that LFR is excluded from these rules as well. So you can run LFR and say heroic Dragon Soul in the same week.

absolutely stupid idea, killed marrowgar on normal now i cant do ICC this week for mount.
