I have a character with a wow service icon next to it in the character list. It has been that way for months. I cannot log in, I cannot delete. When I try to delete, I get “This character cannot be deleted while a character service is under way.” Please fix so I can remove it from my list.
Did you buy a “character service”, then request a refund after it failed?
If so I believe you need to re-buy and use on the toon.
If that is not the case… The delete service might still be down, because they broke the undelete service.
Nope; and the undelete service was just recently taken down. This has been an error for months.
