Hello all,
I would like to switch mains for next season but cannot decide on what class to decide on… Which is a usual thing for me. I mostly just focus on M+ and run with my wife/friends I was wondering is class synergy still a thing? Our comp consist of BDK/Holy Priest and two BM Hunters.
My tank friend wants me to roll a Druid for the Mark buff. So lately I’ve just been bouncing from one toon to the next so I came here asking for help. I would like something melee but that brings something to the table for M+.
I was considering either Warrior, Paladin or DH. Possibly a Druid? Maybe? How are Rogues? Are those good choices?
Thanks!
Paladin and Rogues have good group utility so it depends on what your group needs and your own playstyle.
If your group really needs a Druid, you could go Feral but honestly I don’t know how good they are right now.

Druid is the safest bet, since they can cover every role and are performing well, at the moment.
DH doesn’t add much to your comp. Ret’s dps rotation is braindead, which lets you focus on using your excellent utility.
Rogue also doesn’t bring much to the table, but they are supposed to be getting reworked in 10.1.7, so maybe that will change.

I’d rather be up close in combat.
Assassination Rogue is all about the poison.
Outlaw is the in-your-face Rogue with its pirate theme. You need to monitor Roll the Bones though.
Subtlety Rogue is easy and can burst, but is reliant on Shadow Dance for that burst and can get spammy.
Ret Paladins are easy and has great survivability and utility.
Feral Druid plays like a Rogue but you have everything a Druid would have like spees boosts and knockbacks.
Maybe do a class trial and see if you’d like playing any of them.

I think depends on level of content. If aim is something similiar to what you accomplished so far you can use any combination of 3 DPS and Healer/Tank.
Druid IMO is an incredibly fun class to play at the moment. I played one for all of season 1 and it was something else having all roles. Feral/Resto/Guardian are fun to play also. I boomied for LFR.
Algebra II is usually a good choice

For Druids is feral the way to go or is boomkin a good option?
I enjoy my rogue, but until Blizzard gives Roll the Bones a much-needed trip to the farm upstate, I’d avoid Outlaw.
Roll Hunter, just to show the other two BMs you’re superior.
This pet just came out, and I haven’t seen anyone with it. You could be the first!
It’s part of the whelpling daycare dailies, and I’m glad they made it tameable.

Depends on preference. Feral for melee/Boomkin ranged, both are DoT + builder spender classes, feral has combo points.
Go WW and dominate aoe so your pals can spec more single target. Tbh I have no clue how much variation bm can have in their spec. You have double tranq double trap double binding so leg sweep is a little negated but so is soothe from a druid.
Doing mostly small group content I’d recommend any class that can do multiple roles in case someone isn’t around.
