Cannot Complete Weekly TimeWalking Raid Quest

I cannot complete the weekly Quest because I did not loot the prism off of Yogg before I left the raid. I could not go back into the raid and do it again because I could not get loot the second time. Is there a way to get that Prism sent to me or reset my lockout to do it again?

This is how raid lockouts have worked for years, it’s not a bug.

The Piece not being mailed to you is a bug. Almost all gear or quest pieces would be mailed to you. And there is not other way to get the quest reward if you accidently do not loot it from Yogg himself not the loot box afterwards. That can’t be intended

It’s so intended it’s literally in a support article.

The Postmaster will not send the following loot to your in-game mail:

  • Quest items

So how do you complete the quest then? Tell me that is intended that these is no way to get the item if you leave the raid without looting the corpse.

Because the TW event is a single week and the boss lock-out is weekly, you can’t complete the quest.

I mean I’m not sure what you expected them to do? There is no way to complete the quest if you do not loot the corpse. It’s always been like this. I’m sorry you missed out on the chance for this TWing raid, but I guarantee from now on you won’t forget.

If you would like to see how quest loot drops works and maybe have it forwarded to mail, you can always post in general or suggest it in game. Feedback on potential changes won’t be taken from Bug report and it’s not currently a bug.

Seriously dense answer, If there is no way to complete a quest and they could fix it why would it now be brought up. I mean if you are in the raid and the raid leader removes you from the instance and then you cannot loot the corpse, you would get saved to the instance and not allowed to try again. Again this is for bugs and issues, is this not a simple fix issue?
