Hey everyone, I’m going to make this quick cause its 5AM.
I’ve been trying to unlock Zandalari since about the middle of BFA when I swapped to Horde to try out how Zandalar looked, I finished all the zones in Zandalari got Mag’har and Vulpera but I was never able to get Zandalari trolls becuase there was quest that never showed up.
Everything contained the 6th part of the Nazmir campaign I can’t find the starting quest for this questline, I looked onto the wiki and walked to the exact cords of the NPC who gives it to me but when I talk to them NOTHING.
This isn’t a shadowlands issue either because during BFA I still had this issue, for some reason I couldn’t ever find the quest to start the everything contained part of the nazmir story.
I tried everything, I looked into it and no one else has this issue.
What quest specifically is the problem? Have you checked Wowhead’s quest completion tool to see if you’re actually at a different point in the chain? (Also, what’s the character/server in question so other people can do some digging?)
Without knowing more specifics, the general things to look out for:
- Having the quest in question completed without realizing it and needing to find a later step.
- Missing a prerequisite. (Sometimes these aren’t super obvious.)
- Phasing issues. For Nazmir, some of the War Campaign quests — the Tides of War part specifically — will mess with it’s phasing. Even just being eligible for some quests can affect the phasing. Just abandoning quests — or not picking them up in the first place — doesn’t always work. So, you need to complete any offending questlines to get back to the normal phasing.
I’ve tried all of these things, I have no idea what to do.
What is the name of the quest you are having problems with? What is the character and server so I can take a peak at their completed quests on Wowhead? Right now you’re not giving much to go on.
I am having the same issue. I finished the Friend of Frog story line, and now I’m trying to do “Bring the boom” for Nazmir. The troll that is suppose to give the quest isn’t giving any quest.
First, did you complete all of the Torga quests? I can’t remember off the top of my head if it will let you do the Frog chain without completing it, but I’m just throwing it out there.
It that’s not it, check a bit further down the quest chain for the goblin stuff. It’s not that hard to do the first couple quests for it while doing the frog stuff and not realizing it.
Try tracing through the quest chain to see if you can find a quest to pick up:
If you’re still trying, look for Tinker or Tasker, can’t remember exactly. He’s hanging around on an island around Gloom Hollow flightmaster. He gives you a quest to use a rocket launcher on some Naga.
Also, don’t be like me and be sure you have low level or trivial quests enabled via the binoculars by your minimap.
