Have you touched the questline to unlock the old Naxx stuff / the vendors in Naxx?

I haven’t finished it, but I have progress in the questline.

Friend of mine experiencing the same issue as me has fully completed the questline (he sees the vendors in Naxx, I don’t because I stopped after unlocking old Scholo - but I do have access to the currency vendors in East Plaguelands).

That’s the only other variable I can think of, but the unlocks from that questline are account wide so it’s not something I can test by swapping characters.

Did you try different raid difficulties?

When I did encounter the issue on this toon, I didn’t have enough tokens spare to pick up the the consumable as well. So I did it on my Druid - and I don’t believe they’ve done Nax.

Edit: Jumped onto my Druid to check manually if they’ve done dragonblight quests - and seems they’ve done all of them - but never touched the inside of Nax (*outside of pitying a love fool)

Yep, switched it once initially, just went back and checked again (on an alt account to also check for the questline thing), no luck.

Making this for visibility. I have seen other posts with the same issue.

I cannot place down the love fool consumable inside Naxxramas, as well as the Culling of Stratholme instances due to the red text “only usable outside.”. The item itself is also grayed out on the bars.

This is very frustrating as this is the last portion of the meta achievement that i need and i have seen youtube videos posted literally days ago of people doing the exact same thing as me and it working for them.

Just ran into this myself. Cannot use the item in an instance, unless it has an outdoors. This works in Culling of Stratholme once you walk past Chromie and exit the building, but Naxx has no outside to it. We are hardlocked from this achievement!!

having the same issue. I also cannot place the love fool in the gurubashi arena. The reticle shows up, but then nothing happens

For CoS try running past chromie in the instance until you actually get “outside” that worked for me. Naxx still not working.

I tried disabling the UI and switching to different characters, but the issue remains the same that unable to place the “Love Fool” in Naxxramas.
