I received a Xy’vox Refuge Dampener after finishing Warrant quest(s) but was unable to open his cage to finish “A Key Threat” quest. No error messages nothing…just the cage could not be interacted with to release this mini-boss to complete this quest.
Not sure why this is a problem when I was able to complete it on another toon already. If we are not able to complete quests even though we have the relative item(s) in our inventory, then I think there is a serious bug problem.
I’m having the same problem. It has something to do with the dampener. I destroyed the dampener and abandoned the quest and that didn’t work and now I can’t get a new dampener.
Yesterday a guild mate of mine mentioned that if I took the skip on my alts, that particular quest might not be able to be completed…but if that is so, why was it still showing on the map to be picked up? If there are quest objectives being made available even after a skip option, why do they not work? Critical thinking here seems to have a hole in its logic, Bliz, think about that.
If a character takes a skip of the campaign, and there are still a few local quests not related to that campaign showing as available, why are they not able to be completed? Its galling especially since you can actually accomplish the many links leading to a final outcome?
Ahh that makes sense cause i was able to do it fine on one character but couldn’t figure out what was going on on my alts. So it has something to do with the skip.
The same thing happened to me only the alt I was tryna Ng to do it on never skipped the quests because I needed valorstones. Skipping doesn’t affect it at all. I think if you do it on one toon you cannot do it on any others they just didn’t fix that so we just have a dead quest in our logs
