Since Season 2, if Wayne the candle spawns, he is incapable of landing melee hits on any mob. All you get is MISS MISS MISS MISS and no dps from him. The others work fine but this trinket was pretty good in S1; I had hoped to use the new S2 version but not in this state. It is about a 30% nerf to DPS.

I too have been experiencing this bug with the Candle Confidant trinket. I have a 626ilvl version of this trinket, and ever since S2 started, whenever Wayne spawns he runs up to the target and all his auto attacks miss leave him doing a pitiful amount of damage with his Not-so-Gentle Flame. I got an 649 version of the trinket in my GV and was hoping it was just the S1 version of the trinket that was bugged, but it to has the same issues. And also it appears the Take no longer spawns. I really hope this isnt working as intended…

Noticed this as well, together with other folks in the mage discord.
Wayne and Take miss 100% of their melee attacks. Please fix.

Their pet AI was already pretty bad with the entire shenanigan of going range-melee but this just kills the poor candle bro’s.
