Completely fine with overpowered racials and 10:1 disparity in pvp outside of instanced PvP. But battlegrounds is half the game.
Honestly Battlegrounds is AT MOST 1/3rd of PvP. So you are complaining about playing 1/6th of the game efficiently.
Just as many alliance are playing as horde in battlegrounds, this is a gamebreaking problem to you I see. This level of equality cannot stand. Can you imagine if zones only allowed an even number of alliance and horde? Horde would be complaining about world pvp SOOOOOOOO HARD OMG.
ok not rocket science here. they added a boost for people who wanted to play burning crusade content with their friends and not have to play vanilla content first. its a re-release of an old game its not the first life cycle. don’t cry and ask for free stuff like a child. if you really don’t like it you can always roll an alt on the other faction and really i love people crying about the summoning stones being camped on a PVP server lol.
PvE servers don’t have a problem with disparity. This is the equivalent of me telling you there isn’t a battleground queueing issue because the raiding population is kinda even.
There’s many reasons alliance don’t queue. Most of them have to do with the fact that season 1 gear is almost completely garbage for every gear/spec combination in almost every slot. At best, alliance are just capping out and waiting till season 2.
Hahahaha you just admitted you’re a tourist begging for changes to a game you won’t even consistently play.
You want to impact the dynamics of a game that relies heavily on character identity and efficacy so you can what? Play for a month, get bored and go do something else until Wrath?
This was true before, but all of the tourists from retail rolled horde since they play horde on retail. There’s significantly more horde players than alliance now, and on top of that there’s fewer alliance queueing BGs because the horde feel the need to hard turtle every single BG and make it an absolute slog, which isn’t fun and makes alliance players just not want to queue at all. That’s why AB is the only one that pops: it’s practically ungriefable where the others are easy for one faction (read: horde) to turn into a two hour stalemate.
With all that said, I’m not sure why horde players are complaining about BG queues instead of just queueing arenas for their pvp fix. Don’t worry about not having resilience gear; very few Alliance have it either. Honor’s just a slog all around, and the more people who enter the arena pool, the more arena points it’s possible for everyone to get at the end of the week.
Maybe I wasn’t paying attention, but the shaming previously seemed more focused on player spats (back when servers mattered and everyone was an edgy 16 year old).
That said, yes - shaming people is wrong. Don’t shame horde for playing with their friends. The people who shamed ally during phase 2 classic and yelled “git gud” can rot in hell. It’s just immature bs.
