BfA is significantly worse than WoD.
This is where you are objectively wrong.
The vehicle I experience an MMORPG is trash this expansion, and was more fun in WoD. I do not enjoy any experience in BfA because I experience BfA through the vehicle of my class.
My classes are terrible. Ergo, my experience with WoD was objectively better than BfA.
Thanks.
Lol at least you actually have an experience with BFA.
Less on this toon than others, but let’s give “arguing from authority” a wide berth shall we?
Bet they came in handy gathering all those herbs from the garden and hitting up the work order huts, or the single daily quest you got which rewarded near worthless apex shards?
Just curious: did you spend tons of hours using the selfie camera and twitter posting, considering those were the two biggest additions for the first major patch of WoD?
Funny, no. I actually rather enjoyed leveling alts, even to the point of redoing tons of the story quests because, shocker of shockers, the classes were fun. I even ran multiple toons through Tanaan and the legendary ring quest, because it was fun.
Remember fun? Sure the Garrisons weren’t the best idea, and there were some dumb ideas and end-game droughts, but the classes were fun.
It’s interesting that you point this out though. Almost as if you’re making me choose between classes or content, when in fact it’s Blizzard that did this. Literally, objectively, factually, etc. Clearly WoD wasn’t an amazing expansion because the numbers of people who left the game was a direct reflection as to how poorly Blizzard handled it. That’s not what I was arguing though.
For me, in terms of play, I had more fun in WoD. I am not excusing anything stupid Blizzard did during WoD. At all.
If anything, they perfected idiotic rollouts with the Legion prepatch, and the Legion content was a fluke that accidentally gave players enjoyment.
I do remember fun, as I’m having now with BfA. Currently leveling alts, as you did, to see stories I may have missed and trying out playing a ranged class over my usual melee heavy roster. Been enjoying leveling a mage and hunter very much and look forward to seeing how things are different at melee vs ranged at level cap.
I also haven’t forgot about the fun I’ve been having hunting rare spawns in response to Warfront victories, doing emissary quests each day for bonus box rewards through rep, and leveling my Alliance character as their story is significantly different from Horde, so I don’t have to replay the exact same quests as you did with the Legendary quest line.
I mean they took what didn’t work with Legion (weapon AP grinding being mandatory due to unlocking abilities and slots for increasing the level, praying you got the right Legendary and not a garbage one, a required garrison table that was frustratingly difficult to keep up with on alts if you wanted to see their class hall stories) and made those systems better with BfA, so there isn’t a forced feeling of having to log in everyday.
Agreed. 2 months in i was still logging into WoD. It was awful, but BfA makes me miss it
I’m curious about something too. Did you spend tons of hours doing Island Expeditons, Warfronts, and playing KT/Zandalari Trolls since those were the key selling points of BfA?
Yes to the first two, Warfronts are an excellent way to gear up and I absolutely love the way the plate gear looks so I’ve been trying to complet the whole set.
As to your third, those specifically no but working towards unlocking them as you seem to be confused. Allied Races were the key selling points, not all would be available day 1 and none were guaranteed to be. I’ve been enjoying leveling one for the heirloom transmogrified gear and will level a Zandulari Troll once I unlock them.
Agree with all your points and feel the same way.
This is still the most bizarre counter-argument I’ve ever seen. You do realise the overwhelming majority of people who quit don’t come back? If you’re arguing that most forum posters do come back (and they represent a very small minority), then that’s a simple selection bias. You aren’t noticing the people who never return.
If everybody who quit inevitably came back, how do you explain subs declining over the years?
That’s probably because you only quoted half my post LOL
Only quoted half, but read the whole thing. I don’t expect you to do the same. Most of your responses on this thread have been unsubstantiated claims and “But WoD was worse!” anyways.
Seriously though, that logic leads me to believe you’re addicted and couldn’t fathom the possibility of actually leaving for good. In which case: you have my sympathies.
I’m not bothering to give full and elaborate explanations on anything because this thread ran its course for me days ago.
Wow so rude, bye to one less toxic.
I’d believe that if you hadn’t responded to me within seconds of my first post here.
