Last year I had tickets for a few shows that got canceled due to covid. Weezer, Barenaked Ladies, Toad the Wet Sprocket, and Gin Blossoms. These shows are all rescheduled so I’ll get to this year or next. Plus last night I bought Hall and Oates tickets for December so I’m pumped about that. Anyone else have any shows canceled last year that your looking forward to see now that bands are firing up tours?
No, shows were coming here but because of covid I opted to not throw my money at something that I knew probably wouldn’t happen. Turns out everything was cancelled and some of those shows didn’t cough up full refunds. Some a rebooked, some are not.
In the end I still have my money and will continue to wait until things settle more.
I didn’t have any tickets. Last time I went to a concert where I live, the audience was so loud carrying on conversations that I couldn’t hear the band (Huey Lewis and the News). I decided there was no point in paying to go if I couldn’t even hear the bands. Are most concerts like that these days or was that just a regional thing?
