Sadly…this is goodbye. I’ve traveled the lands of Azaroth for years. However, Pathfinder and any similar mechanics has been a major issue for me…I love flying so much. Being newly retired I have to prioritize my expenses. I seldom log in now. I have removed my payment method from my account as I can’t seem to find the sub cancellation option.
Too all the wonderful people I’ve met over the years, that helped me fumble my way through, thank you so much for all your help.
If you barely spend any time on there as it is, you’re doing yourself a favor n saving up to $14.99/mo by moving on from it in your retirement. It’s a win/win.
Under “SUBCRIPTIONS & GAME TIME”, click on “Manage” at the bottom of your account info. You should see a “Cancel Subscription” button under Next Billing Date.
May want to actually cancel subscription to ensure you don’t run into any problems when they try to renew your sub but there’s no payment info.
Hey…thanks so much everyone for getting back to me. OBVIOUSLY…being offline for so long, I’m way out of touch with what is going on in World of Warcraft. So…reading your post, am I understand you all correctly that: 'Pathfinder" AND all similar mechanics that restrict or delay the ability to fly, beginning with the next expansion, will no longer exist ? Are they rolling flight requirements for flying back to pre-MOP ??? That works for me if they are. AND…what about the newest expansion with the dragons ?? I can purchase this expansion and will be able to fly ??? Let me know…
Pathfinder has already been removed from everything up to BFA, and BFA is either being removed next patch or was in 10.1 (not sure which, but either way, BFA will not require pathfinder either by July either way)
And Dragonflight as the others said dragonriding flying is unlocked for the entire account in the first hour or less (much less if skipping side quests) of questing in the first zone, people have been flying since Day 1.
And Blizzard has explicitly stated in interviews Dragonriding will be continued forward after Dragonflight, so may be Day 1 flight in future expansions going forward.
Bilihten…I tried to follow your instructions and even changed browser. I can find “add a sub” but cannot see ‘cancel’ a sub. I even tried clicking on a Blizzard link to do this…still, can’t find it. Its most likely right in front of me so will keep trying…duuhhh !!

If you have the option to add sub, then it may have already canceled it when the payment method was removed, but still a good idea to make sure as they had said.
