Cancel aura baked into macro?

Hey guys,

I learned that there is a trick for mages using their PVP emblem (battle master) and alter time. What you do is use your trinket, cast alter time, and cancel trinket aura. When Alter time ends, you still have the health boost from the trinket.

What i want is to be able to cast alter time, and the second time i click alter time it cancels the aura for the trinket before ending alter time. I know i can bind it to a different key, but i’d like to be able to have it on the same bind if possible.

You don’t want to do that. You want to be able to press alter time again to go back if needed if you are about to die. I guess you could use a shift modifier, but it’s too risky, you could slip and cancel your buff instead of altering back.

What I do is bind the cancel aura to my macro that eats if out of Combat, uses health stone if in combat, and cancels alter time’s aura regardless of combat.
