Canadian Dollar (CAD) Price Change for World of Warcraft Game Time (Excludes Subscriptions)

BTW guys you can just sub and then cancel your sub from renewing for the same price you’re paying now if you buy with game time. :skull:

The game is constantly lowering in quality but you raise the price? Strange. I do hope you try this in the US maybe there will be enough outrage to knock some sense into your heads.

Less content, but pay more? lol. If they do this in the US, I’ll just go play other things. The sub based monetization is already outdated. And I just bought some nice games.

Change it just before your socialist president comes into power and our dollar will be going back up. Nice one. Braindead company.

No lie, quitting once my current game time runs out. Already cheesed how SL turned out.

shouldn’t that be like $19.25 for a month. i guess math is not blizz’s strong suit, or they are just sticking it to the Canadians.

So, after conversion, we’re paying more USD per month than Americans pay. Will be keeping an eye on this, this is jank af.

I paid less when i used exchange rate. 97.99 to 115.99 and now , with the dollar at .79 CAN to USD. US sub is 15.99 month? So to CAN it should convert at 19.34, correct. I guess math is optional in the US business world. Blizzard has ovet he last year been rude in following up on ingame concerns and i notice a change in responses when i mention i’m in Canada.

I only paid extra 'cause banks tagged on here a coversion fee which literally was 22$ after. So I got into making gold and using the wow token since I have no benefit from paying RL money to play this game anymore.

I’d rather direct that 22$ to my cell phone bill and go do something else with how Shadowlands and the community clearly don’t like us ‘casuals’ around.

For a company raking in billions in profit, this and the aussie change is greed at it’s finest.

Just Blizzard giving Canadians THE BIG FU to Canadians

my Credit card charges were reasonable, at exchnge rate. Blizzard thinks Canadians are stupid, however we have the best economists in the world. Even our Drama teacher of PM understands this better then Blizzard does.

Thanks for the push, wasn’t playing much anyways.

Perhaps it would be a good idea to explain the math behind your price changes before you get flamed into oblivion.

Blizz is just greedy. Finance department and CFO is probably thinking they want more people ‘subbed’ so they do these changes that make no sense when you convert at current prices to say to shareholders ‘‘look, more are subbed for our ongoing sub system’’

Notice how they prolonged the 6 month bundle deal
#greed

This is blatant price gouging and taking advantage of Canadians.

The $15 USD monthly price = $19.12 CAD at current currency conversion levels. We were already paying $18.99, which is pretty much exactly on the actual currency conversion. Why are we now being expected to pay the equivalent of $17.67 USD for a game that Americans are paying $15 for? This is an arbitrary price gouge that isn’t supported by the actual value of the currencies.

Disgusting move, Blizz.

You already knew that though.

Cancelled my sub, not that you give a s*it.

I’m already paying more because I’m charged with a fee for exchange rate.

Idc it’s cheap entertainment.

This clearly doesn’t reflect the foreign exchange differential.

$14.99 US / 0.78 (todays exchange rate) = $19.22 CDN.

Why are you charging a 14% premium ABOVE the foreign exchange differential?!

EDIT: So, I just checked as my subscription price remains unchanged. What the hell does “Game Time” price actually mean?
