Canada sub price increase

Apparently subs are different than gametime. Subs are staying the same it seems.

What the hell even is game time then if it isn’t a sub?

CaD exchange rates are a thing

Maybe if our government didn’t destroy the dollar we wouldn’t be in the mess.

It’s worked out pretty well for George Soros.

you can buy 30 days game time at a time. you can’t subscribe(even monthly) with blizz balance/tokens

i assume its to try to push people in subscribing while also trying to refrain people from converting tokens into blizz balance. other than that, i don’t know. maybe more people that subscribe let it roll on their card when they stop playing where the people that add game time won’t purchase more than a month at a time and so aren’t spending money when they dont’ play.

in the end, we all know its all about the money.

I’ve been paying with gold for months now, and I will be in the future because Slands has so many opportunities for easy gold.

That price raise is pretty sucky… I know that if the sub in America went up to $20 USD, I would never pay with money again.

my thought, i cancelled my sub

If they lower it, I’ll come back, but only IF they do. At least I finally got my rogue back to the right server, and I’ve added a few more exalted factions to my list.

My mother, and sis also play this, and I’m curious if they will keep going. Not sure, as my mother is on limited funds as well.

Huh? What are you talking about?

I’m seeing a pattern here: first Australia’s price went up, and then Canada’s. For all those of my fellow Murricans who think that this isn’t a big deal, do you really think that we are not next?

I wouldn’t mind if we were actually getting something in return for sub increases but instead all I’m seeing is Blizz cutting jobs and reducing levels of service (exhibit A: the layoffs last year. Exhibit B: the delay of Shadowlands).

If Blizz are going to raise prices the least they can do is provide us with an improved product. Right now all they are doing is lining shareholders’ pockets while the players who actually buy the product are seeing less for more money.

So, just to be clear everyone, this does not impact our subscription price so it’s a non-issue for most of us.

Christmas ceased to have any meaning for most people when companies started putting up Christmas-themed products and ads on November 1st.

November? Some of our stores down here in Florida gutted the Halloween sections a week before the holiday to put up all of their Xmas crap…

Tbh I am not even phased by that. Firm believer in that things can always suck more/be worse than they currently do/are.

There are much more expensive hobbies out there. Australia got a subscription increase also, haven’t tried to compare with what US pays and honestly, it really is a bit trivial lol.

Up the U.S price, and the forums would be pissed.

Seriously? I guess that answers the question of whether I unsub or not.

Looking forward to it, should be a good week on the forums.

Usd value plummeting. Canada dollar is also falling apart. Thank your central banks for this.
