Can you turn off notifications

…such as “Your heart of azeroth has an unused essence slot”?

I KNOW it does and as soon as I turn off that notification, it pops right back up. Same with “you have a pvp talent available”, etc.

Thanks in advance!

I get the PvP talent available every time I log in even though I have every PvP talent slotted.

Fun times!

I get the dialog boxes for WQs or dungeons on loop sometimes. I have to click it off like 8 times before it stops.

Yeah I hate that stupid thing telling me I have pvp talents. I don’t care. I don’t need to put a talent in there I will not pvp.

Almost like it’s a Slap in the face!?

I’ve clicked it off no less than 50 times in the last 2 hours…

Yes, but I avoid saying that most of the time as it triggers people.

How about after accepting a group invite for some activity:

Get a popup box in the middle of your screen saying “You have joined a group” and you must click OK or reload UI to get rid of it.

I fugging KNOW I’ve joined. Stop telling me shyte I literally JUST voluntarily did!

Same, I used the slots so that it would shut up on things that will help me escape, should I accidentally get flagged by an NPC by walking somewhere I shouldn’t have.

I did not look at them… I probably should do the same for those just in case moments. I keep getting flagged on my BE paladin though.

It’s been a while, but I believe I got rid of the PvP talent notification by going to esc > interface > display and ensuring Hide Adventure Gide Alerts is checked and Tutorials is unchecked.

I really find this annoying - I don’t want to waste my time going there for a 52 stamina trait.

For every player that hates it, there’s a player that finds it useful. There really should be an option to turn off notifications though.

In the main room of The Great Seal every so often a quest giver that’s no where in the area spams their lines over and over until you leave the room. :joy:

I just picked three random talents so it would shut up.

These automatic popups that can’t be dismissed are among the most annoying things ever.

They need to put in a checkbox to turn all these things off at once.

Those are two of the first settings I change when I create a new character. I just checked a couple of my toons and they both had hide adventure guide alerts checked and tutorials unchecked already. I got notifications regarding PvP talents on all my toons including the two that I checked.

I find it very annoying. I will never PvP in WoW ever again. I’ve tried it and hated it. It was a waste of time and energy to select PvP talents to get the notification to go away, plus it left me bitter seeing the formerly baseline skills that are now PvP only.

The talking heads for wq’s are the worst. I was standing in the portal room in Daz the other day and the stupid Dinosaur one kept popping up back-to-back-to-back no matter how many times I clicked it off. I wound up taking the portal to Naz just to escape it.
