Well, turns out I’ve transfered my SoM PvP character to Mankrik-Era, a PvE realm. Am I stuck there forever now? I’d like to start a new character on Whitemane, but it would be nive to have a max lvl. character there too. I’ve opened a ticket to see if they can rectify my mistake, but I doubt. Can I pay to transfer, or the PvE to PvP restriction is still up?
Why don’t you just try to pay for the transfer and find out for yourself 
For Classic Era, you cannot transfer from pve to pvp.
I don’t know if I will keep around ,tbh, and the max level character would be just a support, sort of. So I’d like for the time being just to know if the transfer would be possible, because this way I can level a new char on Whitemane knowimg that any time I can get my other characters there too.
That’s what I thought. And I somewhat agree. Just a shame that the chars I’d like to transfer were built all on pvo servers, and now I’m stuck there…

Did a quick simulation here and not only Whitemane, but all PvP servers on NA appear as a possible destination for my character from Pagle (a realm which is connected to Mankrik). I don’t know if the transaction will fail further on, when you have to confirm the purchase or whatever. But the option is there.
Ye, what a shame. I didn’t even log on after the transfer. Pity that all those days of /played might go to waste if I trullu decide to go on Whitemane.

I transfered from PVP to PVE. No problem.

dont listen to the priest who hates playing the game, ofc he knows nothing. you can now xfer from pve to pvp on era, however since maintenance yesterday a bug has caused the cluster to become locked. you will be able to xfer here once that is fixed.
It has been well-known from the start that Whitemane was a little bigger than Mankrik, and it that one is PvP and one is PvE, so, I’m wondering why you want to transfer now, and what the “mistake” was?
You either mistakenly selected Mankrik when you meant to select Whitemane, unlikely, since it asks you to confirm your selection before it finalizes. OR, you mistakenly selected a PvE server, thinking it was a PvP server. I think this is unlikely also, since you are aware enough of the differences to know that you can’t transfer from one to the other, and came here to verify that.
I think that you chose willingly and knowingly chose Mankrik, and have heard since that Whitemane is “better”, so now you want to change.
Stick with Mankrik. It’s a good server, with a decent population. You’ll be fine there. Don’t be one of the “grass is greener” players so prevalent these days, if you’re constantly chasing the next best thing, you’ll never be happy.

Yes you can. They fixed all servers. You can also create characters on both factions now.

Yes. We have a mage who transferred off Mankrik and is now on Whitemane.
I moved my characters a year ago … from Whitemane PVP to Mankrik PVE.
I did the same a month ago.
What about Normal → RP server?
Yes. I transferred my raiding main from Pagle (Mankrik) to Grobbulus (RPPVP) to join their group their (highly recommend). I think you can just transfer anywhere now, though I heard unconfirmed rumors of a few transfer restrictions being recently introduced?

I heard and not certain if actually true, but I’m aware of a mage who came from the PvE cluster to the PVP cluster some how, his priest buddy is supposed to be doing the same.
As for how that us accomplished, nom idea
