We had plenty this year of these limited time events. Some people cant play all the year due to work and surely the rewards will not be available again. Just stop with these time limited already.
We have already too much with time limited Trading Post now you add events over and over with unique rewards that many people will not get for many reasons, not all people can play all year long sitting in a chair in front of a pc playing wow.
PD: Im not talking about cycling seasonal events like Love is in the Air and so. Im talking about events that are one time only. We had Diablo event, Hearthstone event, now Pirates event. All with unique rewards like transmogs, toys, pets, mounts, that if you didnt log during 1-2 weeks you lost all of them and they will never come back.

Events are fun. If it’s not going to be something critically important then I think it’s fine. Like if someone is hosting a party and you can’t go because you have other plans, you don’t get mad at them. That’s just childish.

If your job has you working 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, time sensitive events are the least of your worries

well… standard behaviour is you take a gift to the party.
but people around here expect lots of gifts, even when the party isn’t theirs.

It seems out of touch to me. Time limited = hard for people with real lives. You have real life priorities that can make it hard to sit down and do these time limited events. Especially when you rely on specific spawn times and such. I know I haven’t even been able to do things like dragonriding events in the old world because my real life is too busy. Stuff like that could be fun if I could sit down and do it when I get a chance. But anything for only 1 week or 2 I don’t even bother to try to do anymore.

I think it’s very unlikely they’ll do away with it because chances are it does help with their sales/retention

Usually I don’t care about these sorts of things, but one week seems rather limited… Make it at least 3 weeks.
