Can you stop putting cutscenes and sound effects on the master channel?

Really irritating having the game muted only to have cutscenes and certain sound effects in nazjatar blare out my speakers when im trying to watch a video or something.

Right, yeah they’re nice, but when i specifically have the game sound and music muted, I’d expect it to actually BE Muted. Especially when the cutscenes seem to be so much louder than what i have the rest of my volume set to.

I’m the TC, for some reason i got logged out and cant switch my forum avatar back to my DK

Tab out while in game, go to your volume mixer, go to WoW and click mute there. Thats how I mute my games I dont rely on ingame volume settings.

Im pretty sure they dont mute cutscenes for the very reason they are missable and if you watch them with no sound there is no way to watch them again with that toon with sound. So they picked this route of unmuting the game concidering you can skip cutscenes if you really dont want to see them.

Well that’s another issue, because most cutscenes nowadays continue to play music from the cutscene for a good time after it’s been skipped. in fact, every cutscene in Nazjatar has done this so far, even after being skipped immediately.

As for sound effects, having the in game sound muted didn’t seem to prevent the sound from ships falling at starting Area of Nazjatar, When you’re suspended at the waterfall.
