Can people still loot Papi during the bee events in stormsong valley now that Shadowlands is out? i really want that purple butterfly…

Yeah its just a purple butterfly, but on my realm so far ive only found one in the AH and its a ridiculous price so im trying to farm it myself but im worried its not obtainable anymore and thats why its not dropping so im trying to find out if anyone has gotten it since Shadowlands hit
i would have thought it was from papilionidae…

Well, as it is generally recognized coming from the French language, they, in turn, adopted it via Latin.
papillon is butterfly in french… the dogs were named after the butterflies
(look at us being all civilized and learning stuff)

soooo can people still loot it or not?
So I can confirm it still drops, I farmed it on 9 toons repeatedly and it dropped a week or so ago. When it did drop I had made it past the 15th wave (some people have said this condition must be met for it to drop).

Yes it can still drop. You may still have issues soloing the bee events though depending on ilvl. Once 9.1 comes out it should be easier.
I have a friend who while leveling his rep with the honeyback hive got both butterflies in a single event at low level 56-58 in the last two weeks. So yes it does drop.
