When I was playing the game, my worgen death knight saw a night elf riding on a druid in flight form. Is it possible to ride on a druid in flight form? I know you can in travel form, unless they use glyph of the cheetah of course!
Short answer: yes.
Long answer: I think there’s a stipulation. I didn’t make my Druid until Legion so I’m not sure if it’s tied to the class hall mount or not, but I’m thinking it is

The druid has to unlock the Lunarwing form.. only then can you fly on back of a druid

It requires derp-owl, but yes.
The reason you see it rarely is because derp-owl looks awful.

It’s ugly and deformed, but I use it all the time.
@OP: After completing your class hall, the quests will be found on the Broken Shore.
Sadly only the LUNAR WING can allow for riders, though I think ALL flight forms should allow riders. I love the quill bat form and the snowy owl form but neither allow riders. it’s stupid

You can also buy a potion from the AH that permanently gives any class of character the ability to turn into a mountable flying dragon.

i’ve only sold two of those in my entire druid career…but it sure did feel awesome when those were in demand!
Lunar Wing should have been a mount form and not replaced our flight form. I don’t use it because its too big for everyday use.
Allow any form to be used and if the chosen form is unsuitable for a rider do what the ride along system does and have the rider transform into a companion that travels with you (this is how the Haranir mount form should have been fixed)
The system needs a bit of a rework.
Leave the class bar as is, its easier for new players to have automatic forms and reduced buttons. (only change is the mount form auto switching like travel does)
The spell book should have Travel Form and Mount Form flyout buttons available which let you change into the form you want and stays active until you change. This lets you use ground form in flying areas, jump out of the water as a dolphin (flop around on land if you choose) etc.
In the barbershop the mount tab should have dropdowns allowing you to choose any form for the ground and flight (it would be nice to see water added too)
This does not currently work on a Haranir.
Just rolling a Haranir for a 2nd druid and it’s really getting to me that I’m stuck as a big ol’ bat when I just want to run from the AH to the bank.
My main has no issues with this and can stick to Travel transforms as they like.
there was a bug in bfa after a reset or patch, where cheetah form was rideable. it looked hilarious and i wish they kept it in.
