There are about 10 permanent trolls on the forums. They literally ruin and derail any posts. Can’t you put them on ignore?

someone at least needs to make a browser addon that ignores the MVP wannabees with 45 thousand post counts

Yeah they literally comment on every thread. And NEVER contribute any information or anything of value. There should be a way of ignoring them.

PS: I have a lot of posts too (not lots of recent ones) but I just like forums. Some people don’t like me, but the “lots of posts” people aren’t all trying to troll. 
You can also mute threads with the toggle at the bottom, just select muted instead of Normal/Tracking.

Some of us have been around since the days of upvoting and downvoting (and before). That system would have people in literal tears these days.

I still remember the old forums before they shifted to these ones. Been a long fun road.
Honestly don’t care if people ignore me or otherwise. I’ll speak my mind as I see fit. These forums aren’t a popularity contest.
I’ll never understand the need for people to rotate forum toons though. Makes absolutely no sense to me.

I also have my uBO set to hide that little “show ignored posts” button so I am not as tempted to look at all the posts from people I have ignored.
Yep, I remember the original forums from way back too.
Good times.
Remember when they wanted to force peoples real names in the forums… a few years before swatting?
That lasted until the forums doxxed one of the devs who claimed RealID wasn’t a problem.

the new system is so trash in comparison to the dumpster fire (in a good way) forums of ~2008
