Ia it possible on the test server to say, acquire a M20 key just to practice the runs? Never played in the PTR so dont know the perks.
honestly if you do a mythic 0 then there’s really no difference with a 2, if you do a 2 then there’s really no difference with a 3…then 8 you get another affix and then 10 you get all affixes and by that time you should kind of understand the mechanics and it’s about not getting hit and using your CD’s to get through trash/bosses
Priority targets that should die first and on top of that M+ is for the people who use addons, macro, keybinds, meta specs, specific builds for the week, etc. It’s not for people who like shiny things and don’t want to change their rotation.
Was thinking more along the lines of getting a M+ team and practicing routes and timing M21+ and such. Practicing a route on M0 M2 M8 M10 isn’t realistic for MDI level pulls.

On PTR? I don’t think so. On the Tournament Realm you can make whatever key you want and run it.
Where is the tournament realm? Said it was in the server tabs, i’ve never seen it, is it on the US servers only or?
Signup closes on Monday. There are signups for each dungeon tournament, MDI, Great Push, etc. If you get in you can visit the tournament realm just like a live server, when it’s available.
Tournament realm is open to all regions, I believe, but it’s probably hosted in the US so there might be some MS.
M+20 is no different than a +15 or…iirc a +11
it’s just scaled up to hit harder, etc.
And for the mobs to live for a small fraction of the time. There is a big difference between practicing on an 11 and a 20, you cannot plan cooldown usage. Also, you are still reliant on getting the correct key which is random. However, it is helpful for practicing skips and route percentages. So that is a good thing.
Op, to answer your question, the Tournament realm might be what you’re looking for. You can run keys on the PTR and you can even copy your character over. But the Tournament realm is just the best experience, you can define exactly what key, level, and even affixes you want to practice. You have to sign up for a tournament account to get access to the tournament realms.
are you agreeing with me or disagreeing with me? If you’re getting carried through an 11 compared to a 20 then yeah mobs die faster, but if you’re within your ilvl, you will learn everything you need to know mechanically. The rest is to watch the MDI groups, that’s about it.
