Rime isn’t bad imo, hits anywhere from 300-500k depending on buffs but is very inconsistent. like everything with frost as it is now, if everything lines up perfectly (on chance) it can actually burst decent, but not great.
Like i said, go wail on a PvP target dummy single target and try to hit a perfect Go. You will notice how lackluster FDK actually is compared to every other class.
Game may have changed, but not for the better.
Shuffle is a completely different playstyle than any other form of pvp, it would disrupt every other mode to accommodate degenerate play.
Too many classes already have MS, more doesn’t need to be added.
Rot and Decay is a good MS but not for FDK. If they fixed FDK with a defile like DnD running on Shadowfrost or just frost it would be great.
If they just fixed FDK to do everything it’s suppose to do it wouldn’t be as bad as it is now. Reapers Mark is bugged, same with Dark Talons. It’s a meme class right now.
but if its like it is now, where most specs have it, even demo warlocks lol, then they should all have it.
its either everyone has it, or only a few people have it. it’s already homogenized, why is it that a handful of specs can’t get it (even at a reduced %)
hard to calculate the exact value of ms(besides unholy NW), but if you were a fury warrior fighting another fury warrior, and u didn’t spec slaughterhouse, how would the momentum(pressure) of that matchup change?
UHDK has a micro Go set up at 45 sec with dark transformation and apocalypse. Abom (which has the Horseman tie in) and Unholy Assault are the 1:30 big Go w/ those other 2 abilities. it seems like they tried to parallel that with FDK but dont understand Pillar is the main go and FWF is just a CC with a single heavy hit, not even breaking 1 million damage.
These are two EXCELLENT suggestions, and I think they’re both great.
I think if you reduce the ability to more-or-less guarantee the setup, then you can absolutely increase survivability and/or sustained in between goes.
I also really like the solution of targeting sleet for its setup potential and just making it like every other blind effect so you can’t do whatever you want for the 3-4 globals.
Also, the grip change is cool IMO, but I think it should be 1-2s instead of 2-3.
