Title says it, I would like Classic installed on my Surface Pro 6 so that I play the AH on my lunch time, but when I click “install” on my Bnet launcher nothing happens and I see “install world of warcraft”. I am logged into my account. Any idea?
There is a drop down that allows you to select wow classic
Yes, if you look in directory there are two different folders for retail and classic so I’d guess it’s a yes.
I used that drop down, but that’s what I am saying, it seems they want me to install retail first.
Install them both. I have them both on my surface pro 3 plus a couple other games so on your 6 you should have plenty of room
No, you don’t need retail to load classic
If you really, really! Don’t want retail just delete the folder when your done.
Ok, never mind guys. I did a restart and now I can install it fine 
Would be interested to know if it runs okay for you. I installed it on my Surface too in case I ever want to play on the go but I haven’t had a chance to try it on there yet. Kinda wondering if it would overheat a little.
It works very well, better than I expected actually. I did not notice overheat but then I’m not using it for long sessions, mostly to play the AH and do some prof stuff on my alts.
