Can you hide/unhide quest objects hovering over you?

I’m not sure what term is used for this type of quest feature but to explain:

I’m on the “Da Boss” Mask of Bwonsamdi quest series that you get in Ardenweald at Renown 8. That mask is annoyingly in the way hovering over me, blocking my view, interfering with everything I do. I know that eventually it will go away as I go through the quest series, but other than just completing the quests, is there a way to deal with those types of quest “features”?

I’m asking in case I have these hovering quest features in future quests and there is a way to hide, call up when needed, or otherwise make those things less annoying. I’m guessing no, just deal with it until quests are over, but I’m hoping for a solution.

There’s no way to turn that off as it’s technically a follower NPC. My only suggestion would be to make sure your camera is zoomed out all the way if he’s blocking your view. Otherwise, followers on quests (especially one such as this that you turn the quest into when finished), cannot be turned off.

Thanks for your reply. I was afraid of that. I wouldn’t mind so much if they didn’t interfere with me talking to NPCs, picking up loot, and so forth.

A little tip with followers, and with pets if you have a hunter for instance, is they have a default follow location on one side of you. If they stop on top of an NPC, strafing back and forth a few inches can sometimes wrangle them into position away from directly on top of you. I haven’t done this quest though so I can’t say with certainty if it will work with him.
