Can you have more than 2 accounts on one battle not account

Can you have more than 2 accounts on 1 battlenet account?

Pretty sure you can. Think there’s way to combine them and it would be very useful for family situations where you have multiple people on at the same time.

Thank you yes that is the reason I am asking;)

Up to 5 I think. But I’ve never gone past 4

I’d ask on the Customer Service forums.

What do I need to do to add the 3rd?

You can have up to 8 WoW licenses on one Battlenet account. Each requires a separate subscription and expansion upgrade.

Blizzard does not allow account sharing, even with family.

There is one exception. A parent can make a Bnet account in the parent’s name, set up parental controls, and allow one child they are the legal guardian of, to use it. The parent can’t use it at the same time. When the child turns 18, the parent contacts Blizzard to have the account put in the child’s name.

Allowing a child on your Bnet account is a poor idea. It means anything they earn like mounts, pets, achievements, transmogs are all Bnet account bound and they lose it all when they become an adult and are forced to have their own Bnet account. It also means increased security risks if they do something on your Bnet account, that Parental Controls would impact you too, that you can’t play at the same time.

Only you are allowed to access an account registered in your name. We don’t recognize the transfer of accounts between individuals. Activities performed on your account are your liability.

You may not share your account or password with anyone, except if you are a parent or guardian, in which case you may permit one minor child to use your account. You may not use your account at the same time, and you are liable for activities conducted by the minor child.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and the use of your user name and password. You are responsible for all uses of your information, even if you don’t authorize them. Security of your account is your responsibility.

I’ve always gone thru the website - account settings there is an option at add free to play accounts. Then just add sub to upgrade. Add next F2P, repeat.

Ok, thank you

See my post above. Blizzard does not allow account sharing, and the one exception for a child, it is better to have them on a separate Bnet account created in the parent’s name.

IIRC it was combining licenses or bnet accounts into one account. It wasn’t an easy or pleasant process, basically the process of reclaiming a stolen account to prove you’re not selling an account but are the same single owner of both accounts.

Don’t know if my memory is correct or if that is or was possible. just recall coming across a thread talking about it.

You can have a pre-2009 WoW licence in your name, that was not put on a Bnet account, “merged” over to your Bnet so that it is playable. If all the documentation is there to prove you are the registered account holder.

Someone who has two Battlenet accounts for some reason, both in their own name, can contact support and have the licenses consolidated to one Bnet. That means moving the license and leaving behind anything that is bound at the Bnet level like mounts, pets, achievements, heirlooms, etc.

They do not allow sharing of the Bnet though, other than the exception of one minor child. Even that is a bad idea because of how the Bnet wide pets/mounts and stuff are. The kid loses it all when they become an adult and have to get their own.

Yes up to 8

Make sure to send yourself a recruit a friend link before you make the second one!

It does not sound like they want to do this for themselves. They seem to want to do this to engage in account sharing which would not be allowed. Even for a minor child it would not be advisable.

Yes you can

  1. I think.
I have four or 5 Wow accounts on my main bnet account

I recently found out about this by accident when I ask about it via e-mail with the support team.

I was actually interested in doing this Account sharing/merge stuff because one of my friends gloated all the time about how he can buy all the new Trade Post easy or how he can get most achievements or transmog with minimal effort since he share an account with a close friend…

However when the support team told me it was not allowed I got a little bumb out as I planned to do this with my Brother so we can get the same advantage…
I did told my friend to be careful and that he should think of separating his account as it was against Blizz policies, were they are just turning a blind eye to his and others similar unique situations like his, but we never know when Blizz might hammer down on this hard at any point… But of course he just laugh and said: “Blizz only cares about me and my fiend paying $$$ the sub specially now that they need it to jump does numbers, they do nothing to bots they will do nothing to us! You worry too much!”

At that point I din’t know what to say so I was like: “You might be right but I personally wont risk my account or my Brothers…you do you I guess”.

Also yes my friend is a bit Annoying at times but he is a cool guy… He is just the type of person that if he sees a loop or cheat in any opportunity to come ahead he takes it! lol
I tend to be more cautions and calculating and don’t like taking unnecessary risk even if it sometimes leaves me behind a bit! lol
So we kind of balance each other! :person_shrugging:

Thank you for posting this I was actually looking were was this.

You did the right thing by keeping your account separate. It is always better to avoid the issue than risk getting banned or losing an account.

Your friend is eventually going to run into issues when he needs account assistance getting CS help, or during a ban wave for account sharing/botting. He might wave it off as nothing, but they ban hundreds of thousands of people. Most recent big ban wave I know of was in Classic a few weeks ago. Mage tower account sharing also got a lot of people upset when they realized they were caught, banned, and lost rewards.
