If I sell a token I got in game for gold and converted the token to $15 account balance, I cannot use that balance to buy anything from the shop. I can use it to buy new expansions I know that but to buy mounts I can’t according to Google search.
Can anyone confirm that they actually bought a mount from the shop with account balance obtained by buying tokens with gold? Thanks
As far as I am aware there isn’t anything preventing you from using blizzard balance for purchases. I was gifted some blizzard balance from a friend and was able to use it for a mount purchase previously.
You buy the token off the ah and it comes in the mail.
Put it in your bag, right click on it and pick either game time or bnet balance.
The snag I ran into is that if you want an item that is more than the bnet balance, you need to add balance from your card, rather than apply the balance to reduce the price.
Your currency balance in the shop can be used to buy anything in the shop. As long as its not a physical item that you can in turn resell in real life for money, such as clothing and such.
As far as I know you can buy anything on Battle.net with the balance you get from WoW tokens, the only hurdle being is if your area charges taxes on what you’re buying, then something like $15 could turn into $16 so you’d either need more than 1 token or have to pay the difference
