Can we try one phase of Season of Discovery without any addons?

Questie? Who cares, about crap like that, the base functionality of the GAMES interface is bad and needs fixes that addons do. Being told what to do for a quest is the least of those worries.

The whole point would be that no addons were universal making it a level playing field for everyone.

Its a level playing field for everyone now. How does taking addons away change that.

You’re welcome to experiment; however, a major goal of the Season of Discovery is to build upon the base game. Nothing here goes against the spirit of the game.

There are no new classes, no alternate-reality lore paths, no new professions, and no new roles. This is still World of Warcraft, Vanilla, with twists–not something that isn’t at minimum the sum of its parts.

Not saying it isn’t level now. Just saying that no addons would be just as level, at least. If they did a phase with no addons allowed, combined with a bunch of uber rare legendary drops I’d be interested in trying it.

What lol where t f did uber rare lego drops come in. How much have you had and can i smoke some too sir.

Blizz should def try this out. I think it would be cool.

What’s wrong with uber rare lego drops? It’s fun to try for things even if you never get them. It’s the journey, not the destination.

Did you play legion. Ya know that xpac with a ton of rare lego drops? Lmao chill dude your lack of awareness is showing.

Everyone look towards Threewolves…We have now identified the center of the universe! Everyone return to revolving around him!

so instead of having an add on do it im going to have to manually go through the combat logs and create a spread sheets to evaluate preformance and sim upgrades.

gate keeping is already time consuming enough. no thankyou

like garbage player is still going to be garbage without add ons. likely worse since they cant use them as a crutch.

Yeah, I played it. I thought getting a lego every 5 minutes ruined it. I want a world where you rarely see that lucky player with something special.

U got a lego every 5 minutes huh. That right there is isanely hard to believe and a lie. You obvs have no idea what your talking about lmao. Go to bed brah

Agreed, like I said, I believe the experiment would be horrible. I can’t imagine myself sticking around for it regardless, but if they made the game useable at base it might be not terrible.

Yeah you didn’t play Legion if you even remotely believe this. Dunno why you’re confusing Diablo with Legion, but they aren’t the same thing.

I was exaggerating. But, only a little. :slightly_smiling_face:

Yea you got no clue what your talking about i know man. Thats like 99% of the wow forum. That and bad ideas. And you did both grats.

I would suggest blizzard implement a DPS meter so that people can identify baddies in the group and maybe overhaul the questing by updating the in game questing UI to wrath questing UI.

A few select addons they should just implement into the game and let the rest fade away.

Whatever it takes, we need to get away from gameplay revolving around parsing. It has just about ruined classic raiding for anyone interested in trying it out. Even if you get into a guild people still will post parses and talk s*** to others because they are the big bad parser. It’s everywhere and you can’t get away from it.

This would only work at the start of a new season, and blizzard would have to implement many QOL things into the game itself to replace the addons we use.

But I agree, most addons aren’t good for the game.

I think I still have about 20 of those in void storage. If you have 20 of something it’s hardly rare.
