Great for leveling on a PVP server when you have to take a #2.
No one uses it.
MDI uses dwarf racials now.
No one plays 5 NE comps to make use of stealth when you have stealth pots, Wo and abilities to skip packs.

op is right shadowmeld is practically useless when compared to other classes racials. it has absolutely no damage no healing and no utility. apart from pvp it is useless. does it drop threat? yes. but guess what? you get every bit of threat back once you leave shadowmeld.

It is one of the best racials for me and being able to drop aggro is amazing.
Not everything is dungeons. And even in dungeon I assume it is helpful.
Arcane torrent doesn’t interrupt
Arcane Torrent is an AoE dispel now.
And, no? Void elves have a teleport, worgen have a weak dash, etc. Night elves have a 1% stat racial that’s their combat racial. Not all active racials are combat racials.
Meld is also a dps cooldown for night elf rogues and ferals.
Macro it with flight form and you can legitimately never ever be killed in WPVP.
Night elves are cowards.

I just wish Maghar racials were the same as orcs… or just give all the maghar cosmetics to orcs cause those racials are disgusting… Maybe i should make a thread about how useless maghar racials are (not really)
useless? it’s one of the more useful in the game.
It gives rogues an extra vanish.
it allows NE players to afk on the feild without fear of being attacked as long as they stealth out of pathing.
It allows other classes to stealth at bases in pvp to kill over confident horde players thinking a base is clear.
It’s also a aggro drop/threat clear.
That racial is a throwback to Warcraft 3. The game had a day/night cycle and at night the Night Elves would go into a stealth mode as long as they were standing still. Really good for setting up ambushes.
The racial in WoW is pretty useless in PvE, though. I think it was intended more for pvp. I’ve seen a few players make use of it throughout the years.
