This is a really frustrating change imo, I love doing pvp and I really think they are both essential, it just feel like there is something missing now, especially while playing fire since you don’t have the icy vein elemental root.
Can we please think about changing the spot they are on so they are not bound as a choice?
Honestly it feels terrible - especially in 2s where you kind of have to chase. Really not sure what the thought process is for our CC. Sunfury still has gravity lapse which is theoretically an “upgrade” to Supernova that’s still significantly worse than DB. Really doesn’t make sense to have a talent node to upgrade DB that’s made 100% useless by a hero talent…
I’d way rather that either Ring were competing with a ranged mass-poly, or if Supernova were made single target and set to compete with Ice Nova. (Maybe the latter is a terrible idea, but the thought there would be choosing between a root and a ranged interrupt for Fire/Arcane, while Frost can keep its throughput talent.)
