I don’t care if its doing 70% or 50% damage, but It’s really not fun and very frustrating that almost every game there is a Dwarf or Evoker against you with the same cd on dispell as your only major Cooldown.
90% of games I cannot use DM whenever I want to, just because everyone with 5 IQ will hold dispel for DM.
Imagine if Ret’s wings can be dispelled the same way like it was in Wrath…
Can we finally get the undispellable treatment to Deathmark ?
Now imagine playing feral in Shadowlands with every Kyrian pot, and every hunter 15s feign death removing your 2-3 min burst as well. Now THAT was frustrating.
I originally liked deathmark way more. But at this point, I’m inclined to change my mind and say I’d much rather go back to Vendetta.
Deathmark was alright with 100% and even 70% duplication damage. Sure, it could be cleansed, but it felt good to see the numbers fly. At this point, being nerfed by 50% from original without addressing how plentiful cleanses are, it’s just too unreliable. You have to be far too careful with holding it for the right time, and the payoff just feels pathetic.
Imagine being a lock where any healer with a dispel can essentially dispell our 6 row of dots, or a hunter Lego feign my burst.

I really don’t feel your pain, I’ve lived through that pain Xpac over Xpac and blizz response was here is “UA”. Never deters a healer from dispelling my dots. so its w/e.
Imo Deathmark not only should be undispellable, it also should protect other bleeds and poisons from being dispelled, otherwise, just remove this garbo ability and give something that we rogues been asking for a long time, which is a CD that doesn’t stay on the target.

At first this looks like a good talent, replacing old useless one, but then… I realized that it is yet another dispel for Deathmark.
I’ve been telling this since Beta, that DM should be undispellable, yet Rogue devs just dont care…
In this state, just give us Vendetta back as a choice node with Deatmark in talents, so PvE players can enjoy their bleeds in Raids, while PvP players may be finally able to use their abilities, if you’re so hesitant to do ONE SIMPLE CHANGE and making it undispellable!
Imo they should just remove Deathmark and make Exsanguinate the big damage ability for Sin, make it like 200% bleed faster on a 1~1.5min cd that lasts for 15 secs or so, and it could also make all of your bleeds tick faster which would make it viable for Aoe.
