Can we stay logged in or do we have to logout?

You can stay logged in if you like.

logout if you want to be in a login que.

Any idea if there’s a preferable location to be in-game when it goes live, or just anywhere, it won’t matter?

I would not log out unless on a realm with a low pop

You will have to relog to see the quest.

Stormwind or Orgrimmar. That is where the quest will start. However it should just pop up on your screen.

Ally should be at the stairs leading up/into Stormwind Keep. I’m there now (Aerie Peak) and there are around 100 toons already waiting for the start.

[edit] Actually it appears that the place to be (Ally) is in front of the fountain at Stormwind Keep. Tons of people where. Gettting in will be…uh…challenging unless Blizz increases the shards.

It’s like a hot fix so stay logged in. Everything is already there it just needs to be turned on.

That would be incorrect. If you’re logged in, the quest is supposed to pop up.
